Brandon Williams, established Stem and Crown Watch Repair in Pittsfield, Massachusetts back in 2011. Ever since I was a little child, I have always been fascinated with jewelry and watches. In 2009, I graduated from the International School of Gemology with the title of Registered Gemologist. The ISG's intense program consisted of courses in watches, pearls, diamonds, colored gemstones, gemology tools and techniques, and created and treated gemstones.
In 2010, while doing minor jewelry repairs and stringing pearls for a jewelry stores in Pittsfield(Berkshire County) Massachusetts, I was taught by the owner how to do minor services(installing batteries, watch band adjustments) on watches. This ultimately led me to start learning watch repairs through video tutorials and online forums. I have received my formal training through both the Timezone Watch School and also from one of the oldest watch repair schools in the United States, Gem City College of Horology. I continue to learn as much as I can about watch repair in order to stay current with the industry.
I also have been stringing and restring pearls and beads for over 5 years and can repair any kind of pearl or bead jewelry.
